The hike from Schliersee to Tegernsee is one of the most famous and beautiful hikes in the Bavarian Pre-Alps and belongs to the absolute highlights in the Munich area. You can enjoy breath-taking views across the surrounding mountains and the two turquoise lakes, making it a popular destination for hikers of all levels. It is a fantastic way to be in nature and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. If the weather is nice and warm, you can bring your swimwear. The hike level is intermediate and requires some basic fitness-level, since the walking time will be about 4-5 hours, depending on the groups pace. However, we will take our time and approach the hike in a relaxed manner. We will meet at Hauptbahnhof Munich and go on the train ride together. Please wear suitable equipment like sturdy shoes (best are hiking boots) comfortable and warm clothes, a rain coat and sunscreen, depending on the weather. Also bring enough water to drink and something to eat and snack. For the participation is a Deutschland Ticket neccessary! Alternative you can buy a Bayern Ticket for this day. (The train ticket is not included in the fee and has to be payed by the students.)
