Out of sight, out of mind – do any of us ever think about the water that seemingly disappears down the drains after having finished our morning toilet, having done the dishes or when the wash is done? Hardly anyone does. And only a minority of these few ask themselves what technical effort is required so that the sewage of a city like Munich does not burden our environment beyond hope.

The "Münchner Stadtentwässerung" (Munich's city drainage service) is offering an exclusive student tour of the wastewater treatment plant "Klärwerk Gut Großlappen" for our Cultural Programme. This exciting tour will give us some insight into the interior of the wastewater treatment plant as well as its processes. We'll get to know numerous filter, incineration and treatment systems and will view the various basins.

Don't miss this rare chance and secure yourself a place right away!

The tour will be held in German.
