Danube metropolis as well as UNESCO Word Heritage Site – Regensburg is the fourth largest city in Bavaria and looks back upon a 2000-year city history. During a short guided tour of the city for orientation purposes and to get to know and love the city, all participants will be wandering through narrow lanes and across wide squares accompanied by experienced guides. You will hear the history of and stories about a 2000-year-old city and will get to know the charm of the “most northern city Italy’s”. The tour will take you to the Regensburg Cathedral and the Stone Bridge, to the Porta Praetoria and the Alte Rathaus (old city hall), to patrician houses and the “family towers”. After the tour, the participants will have the opportunity to set out in small groups to discover the city and its secrets by themselves or, depending on the weather, to go on a boat trip on the Danube at their own expense, before heading back home to Munich in the evening.

The event will take place according to the latest hygiene regulations. At the moment, the 3G rule (vaccinated, recovered or tested) applies as well as it being necessary to wear a medical mask. We will provide information on up-to-date hygiene rules and any changes there might be, shortly before the event.

The tour will be held in German.
