The romantic Christkindlmarkt in Bad Tölz is the largest and probably most well-known Christmas market in the area. The market with its lovely atmosphere, which is only an hour’s drive from Munich, has a lot to offer for each and every one of us, such as traditional Christmas treats, handmade jewellery or carved figures. The façades of the houses in Bad Tölz's historic Marktstraße will be aglow with Christmas lights and the lovingly decorated wooden stalls are perfect for wandering about and enjoying the atmosphere.

 
As a group, we will watch traditional artisans at work and listen to the varied programme with musicians from all around the Isarwinkel. And naturally, we will be sure not to miss the diverse culinary offers: you’ll be able to try everything from hearty bratwurst to sweet gingerbread and roasted almonds. We’ll enjoy a mug of Glühwein, non-alcoholic punch or regional specialities from the Tölzer Land and will simply let ourselves be enchanted by the Christmas atmosphere.


If you want to join the day trip, you need to have a "Deutschlandticket"! Otherwise you need to get yourself a "Bayernticket" for the day. (Tickets are not included in the price and must be paid for by the students themselves.)
