Arthur Smolyaninov became famous after "The 9th Company" movie, played significant roles on the stage of Moscow's Sovremennik theater, and is remembered by audiences for roles in popular TV series. In 2022, he openly opposed the war, left Moscow, and now lives in Latvia.

Renowned Russian surgeon and activist Andrey Volna supports Ukraine and now lives in Estonia. He regularly travels to Ukraine, where he assists Ukrainian colleagues in military hospitals.
